The club would like it's members to make a special effort this year to keep the course, and in particular the greens, in first class condition.
To help with this we would like to encourage every member to:
a) always keep a pitch mark repairer in their pocket and
b) repair any fresh pitch marks on the green - without unduly slowing the game down!
Unfortunately, a lot of golfers don't know how to repair a pitch mark correctly and if a pitch mark is not repaired correctly or (even worse) not repaired at all, the damage can take up to three weeks to repair itself.
